Fine Wines : Red Wine

This is our first release of a true Bordeaux style blend. 63% Cabernet Sauvignon 19% Merlot 9% Cabernet Franc 7% Malbec 2% Petite Verdot The artwork for the label is a photo taken by world renowned photographer and wine lover, Greg Gorman.

Menage a Trois Red is soft, pleasing and fresh; bright red fruits run abundantly on the palate; pert in the finish.

Abstract is a blend of Grenache, Petite Sirah, and Syrah primarily from hillside vineyards in Sonoma County. The aromas are all berry and black fruits, with neatly integrated caramelized oak. A huge entry coats the mouth. The wine has tons of weight on the mid-palate and is dense with layers of ripe cherry and strawberries. The finish is laced with long, soft tannins that go on and on.

This is a take-no-prisoner-style blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petite Sirah and aged in a combination of new and seasoned oak. Burly, but somehow also elegant, it is teeming with red fruits and layers of tannic structure. It is the sort of red you want on a chilly evening, after a hard day, with something sustaining and equally delicious, like short ribs.
