Auchentoshan Three Wood is a triple-distilled malt matured in bourbon barrels and finished in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. These casks impart a great deal of complexity and depth to this nuanced whisky; the nose and palate express dried dark fruit, caramel, roasted nuts, and cocoa, while the finish introduces a citrus note. Unlike many delicate Lowland malts, this spirit boasts satisfying heft and weight, making it an unexpected treat.

Aged 6 months, with a roasted agave presence, notes of cherry, pear, and peach, flower hues of rose petals and tinges of herbs. Oak aroma is elegant with hints of caramel and vanilla. It is extremely well balanced and sophisticated.
